14/1/2015 9.00am --- Spares, With all flyers having paid in full for their race team wether it be 1 bird or 4 birds and the race series gets under way, the committee with (loft manager Lyndon Frick who will breed 50 spares) will give the owners the opportunity to have a spare drawn out of a hat if one of their birds goes missing, this will keep all owners having their full numbers in the race wether it be 1 or 4, we will liase with owner individually for their decision
6/2/2015 9.30am --- It is with great pleasure that we announce a $5,000.00 donation to Kids With Cancer Foundation, this has come about with the support of all pigeon fanciers across Australia who have entered teams into the race series, this is our first year and we hope the series will grow into the future, again many thanks to all participants, please feel free to share this information with fellow fanciers who may not have internet access.
4/4/2015 Sorry for slow updates, my computer needed repairs and had taken 3 weeks, All birds have broken in well, all have had both PMV shots and pox shot, they are free lofting 3 hours per day and will be moved into more exercise shortly after the moult has finished, there are 10 birds that have not returned into loft, see gallery photo's. The prize money lists have been determined and are under the Wellington $10,000 tab.
All birds will have their electronic rings placed on the 1/5/2015, if there are any birds missing from teams in the series the spares will be allocated to the owner/team on this date, after this date there will be no more spares allocated. as of today 4/4/2015 there are 395 birds and 105 teams/owners. 24/5/2015 All birds have had their TIPES electronic rings fitted and have been working at a cracking pace for at least 1 - 1 1/2 hours in 4 to 5 groups for the past 5 weeks, flying on the horizon west of the loft around Wellington and returning from the north from Tailem Bend, we have been tossing 10-15-25 kilometres as of the 16/5/2015 and are progressing east along the Mallee Highway and will be increasing the distances as we go, we had a slight delay with getting the registration code for the TIPES system but many thanks to Bev Seedsman for helping us gain the codes for the operation of the system, we will be contacting owners /breeders/syndicates individually in relation to what birds they have still in the race series and to what spares need to be allocated also to which parties may need to pay for their 4th bird (i.e. $100) for still having their four birds in the series
6/6/2015 With all flyers who have paid in full for their birds in the race series wether it be 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 birds, (please note some flyers had paid for 4 birds in total up front) All the spares have now been temporarily allocated to flyers who had lost a bird they had paid for, If anyone is interested in purchasing a bird to have a 4th bird in the series they are available at 100 dollars each, please see emails and letters sent out to all participants. Can people let us know if you are going to attend the first race from Ouyen on Sunday 28th/6/15 for catering purposes please ring Fricky on

20/7/2015 Congratulations to flyers on the Piangil results 1st P Virgona & G Hamilton, 2nd Peake Tavern Synd, 3rd Walter Lizoguboff, 4th Bronte Andrewartha, see all results on website. A very good race mentioned from all present. Can anyone coming on Sunday 16th August for the last race from Booroorban let us know for catering numbers either by email, or phone Fricky and Nicky on 0408 822 538. We are currently planning for the 2016 Season and are giving all flyers in this series (2015) first preference as to what birds numbers they wish to nominate for the 2016 series, the races will be the same as this year at Ouyen, Piangil and Booroorban, the cost per bird will be $100 each and a team can consist from 1 bird up to 10 birds per "flyer", "syndicate" or "group", even family members can be included, all details will be on our website soon and any nominations can be sent back by email or phoned to Fricky on 0408 822 538. email [email protected]
